Canada's umbrella consumer product safety statute: prohibits selling dangerous products, incident reporting, recalls, and authorizes SOR regulations.

Scope

Applies to consumer products manufactured, imported, advertised or sold in Canada (s. 4). Prohibitions (s. 5-11): no product that is a danger to human health or safety; no false/misleading claims; record keeping (s. 13); incident reporting (s. 14); recall orders (s. 31).
