EMC Directive covers electrical/electronic apparatus: essential requirements for electromagnetic disturbance and immunity, CE marking.

Scope

Applies to all apparatus liable to cause electromagnetic disturbance or whose performance is affected by it (Art. 2). Covers home appliances, lighting, IT/AV equipment, machinery with electrical parts. Excludes radio equipment (covered by RED) and aviation/marine equipment with specific rules.
