Toy harmonised standard under 2009/48/EC — N-Nitrosamines and N-nitrosatable substances in toys. Informative note: the standard's limit values (N-nitrosamines 0.01 mg/kg; N-nitrosatable 0.1 mg/kg) are LOWER than the Directive's limits (0.05 / 1 mg/kg) — comply with both. OJ L 190, 2021/867.
Scope
Applies to toys made of elastomer and rubber intended for children under 36 months or placed in the mouth. Sets N-nitrosamine and N-nitrosatable substance limits.
