Desktop edition

Your compliance data never has to leave your computer.

The same ComplyMatrix your team uses in the browser, running locally. Product files, test reports and supplier declarations stay in a database on your own machine — which is often the only way past your company's security review.

The first public build has not been published yet — get in touch and we'll send you an installer.

The same product, a different home for your files

Runs on your machine

  • Product profiles, regulations matched and reports
  • Test reports, lab results and supplier declarations
  • Project records, templates and the audit trail
  • The regulation knowledge base, synced in the background

Reaches out only for three things

  • Regulation updates — so your compliance advice is current
  • AI matching — the model runs on our servers, your product details are sent for it
  • Licence checks — so your subscription is valid

We tell you plainly which of these are in use, and the app keeps working — with offline rule matching — when none of them are reachable.

Built for companies whose security review blocks everything else

Everything stays on your computer

Product profiles, test reports, supplier declarations and generated compliance reports are written to a local database. They are never uploaded.

Regulations still stay current

The knowledge base syncs from our servers in the background — the one thing that genuinely has to be up to date. You can see exactly how fresh it is.

Works without a connection

Lost network? Product matching keeps working against the cached regulations, and AI falls back to the local rule engine. The app tells you when it has done so.

Nothing is locked in

Full data export any time, in a format you can read. An expired licence never takes your files away from you.

Up and running in a few minutes

  1. 1

    Download the installer

Windows 10 or later. About 90 MB — no separate runtime needed, Node ships inside.

  2. 2

    Install and open

It runs entirely on your machine. There is no account to create and nothing to sign up for.

  3. 3

    Enter your licence key

Until you do, the app runs in trial mode with the same limits as our free cloud plan.

Where the cloud edition is better

  • Real-time collaboration — several people editing the same product at once
  • Sharing a compliance report with an external lab, who signs in with their own account
  • Centralised administration across many sites and users

Most teams run both: the desktop edition for their own working files, the cloud edition when they need to work with other people.

What you need to know

  • One machine, one user. Team features live in the cloud edition.
  • Regulation updates require a licence and a network connection; everything else does not.
  • Windows only, for now.

Not sure which fits? Tell us how your review works and we'll say which one will get through it.

Start with the cloud version, or take it local.

Try the full product in your browser with nothing to install. Move to the desktop edition when your security team asks you to.
